ANTICIPATED DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION
Del Monte Forest Preservation and Development Proposal
Key Components

 

Anticipated component

Housing

Approximately 37 residential units are proposed to be built on existing lots of record and within proposed subdivided lots of record.

Employee Housing

Employee rental housing is proposed for two sites - 48 apartments adjacent to the Pebble Beach Company's corporation yard and an additional 12 units adjacent to the Spanish Bay development.

 

Visitors Serving Commercial

Spanish Bay: The Spanish Bay development would be expanded by adding an additional 91 visitor serving units, approximately 14,000 sq ft of meeting room space, and a 441-space underground parking garage.

Pebble Beach: At the Pebble Beach Golf Links the Company is proposing an additional 91 visitor-serving units, 5,500 sq ft of meeting space, and 245 additional parking spaces - much of which will be underground.

New Golf Course: 24 visitor serving units would be developed adjacent to the new golf course along Stevenson Drive and Spyglass Hill Road

Golf Course

An 18-hole championship golf course on between the existing courses at Cypress Point and Spyglass Hill. Included with this plan would be an underground maintenance building, clubhouse, parking, on-course restrooms, expansion of the existing driving range, and 24 visitor-serving suites. Additionally a golf driving range, golf training center, and parking is proposed adjacent to Spanish Bay (Area C).

 

Equestrian Center

The existing Pebble Beach Stables will need to be relocated due to the location of the new golf course. The plans are for this center to be relocated to the site of an abandoned quarry site near the City of Pacific Grove.
