Subject: Items for Submission to Planning Department on September 25 for Inclusion and Discussion in Forthcoming EIR on Pebble Beach Company Projects

Here are several subject areas for our discussion on September 23 as possible inclusion in the forthcoming EIR:

  1. Is it Really a final Build-Out? A clear statement or discussion that the proposed projects represent the final build-out of DMF on the part of the Company, particularly since the Company has represented that these projects are a "final build-out".

  2. Measure A as limiting Future Growth. A statement relating to the legal implications or consequences of Measure A as prohibiting further residential, recreational, and business growth unless authorized by the electorate.

  3. Measure A as Enforceable. A statement or discussion regarding Measure A as an enforceable instrument, by way of a county ordinance or other resolution.

  4. Multiple EIRs. Incorporation of the proposed improvements to Highway 68 and Highway 1 Gate in the proposed EIR as opposed to a separate EIR

  5. Business Access to Morse and Haul Gates. Discussion and recommendations in traffic section of the EIR re use (and limitations) of S.F.B. Morse Gate and Haul Gate as off-limits to commercial and business enterprise.

  6. Special Events. Discussion and recommendations reasonably limiting major new special visitor-oriented recreational activities
